The bodice and skirt are in red, gold and ivory indian silk dupion. The bodice is inspired by he design of an Edwardian riding habit with the back lower edge of the bodice sloping down from the front. The back bodice has a centre split for the layered bussle and has a fake lacing at the centre which is in plaited ribbon.
The skirt is in the ivory and gold with the busle attached. The skirt has been cut to look straight from the front as the bride walks down the aisle. As it sweeps round to the back the volume of fabric increases to become a long built in train.
